A common misconception when planning a wedding is thinking that you need to have over the top floral arrangements on every table and include a crazy centerpiece design. While these are beautiful and definitely make the room look stunning, it’s not exactly as budget friendly. We like to recommend to our clients to let your rentals speak as a big part of your design. It can be more cost effective, and you also get a beautiful space that looks stunning and put together as well.

A full place setting goes a longggg way. It adds dimension and makes your tables already look full! Adding pops of florals accentuates your design, but to avoid overcrowding your table and making it look busy you won’t have to add a lot to it!

Another hack to elevate your space without breaking the bank is adding an extra piece of stationery to your tables. This could be a menu card, or in this case as pictured above, a thank you note with a letter written from the bride and groom personal to each guest. This is so special to your guests, and also can tie in your color scheme.

How beautiful is this?! See what adding fun water glasses can do to your table? These glasses perfectly mirror the colors in the bridal party dresses and florals, and was also a huge statement and conversation starter.

See how having these favors on display adds to the design and color scheme of this stunning reception space? They mirror the black that has been in the rest of the space, and add a little something where otherwise it would have just been a charger and a napkin, but it’s not an overload of a statement centerpiece. The color pop of the napkin also accentuated the design and added a beautiful piece of color to a majority black and white space!

Upgrading your linens to a texture or pattern speaks for itself. To save some money you could only upgrade your cocktail tables, or your head table/ sweetheart table. They are a statement piece within themselves, and really don’t need much (if anything!) to dress them up.

To spice up your table settings, you could also choose to use unique flatware. We used these stunning rose gold pieces for our styled shoot last August (fun fact- these were brand new from Party Reflections!) and they completed our look that we were envisioning for our table. To make this more budget friendly, you could choose to only upgrade your head table and/or your sweetheart tables to add a bit of flair and highlight those tables more.
