It’s no secret that weddings these days are not cheap. This is why we work with you to purposefully create a game plan to keep you on track within your budget! However, there a few sneaky wedding day costs that can add up to be a fair amount, so if you know about them and prepare ahead of time, they shouldn’t be too stressful or take away from your budget!

These wedding day costs don’t even happen on the wedding day- they usually happen the week of. We’re talking nail appointments, spray tans, hair appointments (fresh color & cut), things like that! Any sort of pampering before your big day can add up to be a pretty big cost (but definitely so worth it!)
While you & your bridal party get ready, y’all are going to need food (& possibly even mimosas!) to fuel yourselves for the whole day. Depending on how many people are wining and dining, this can be pricey! Definitely lay out a game plan for this ahead of time so you’re not starving on your wedding day!

Another cost while you get ready could be getting ready outfits for you & your girlies. We love the matching pj’s/ outfit look- especially for photos- but it can be costly as well, so keep this in mind!
If you’re planning on doing an outfit change or at least a shoe change at your reception, we’re going to say odds are you’re buying something new specifically for this. We would recommend adding this to your wedding dress budget so that you don’t get carried away with it!

Lastly- let’s talk vendor tips! It can be confusing on who to tip or not to tip, so let’s talk about that first. It’s usually custom to tip your hairstylist & makeup artist, waitstaff & bartenders, DJ or band members, wedding planner, photographer & videographer, & any other on-site attendants like for a photo booth, transportation, or ceremony musicians. It would also be appreciated to tip the baker for your cake and the florist, especially if you think they did an amazing job throughout the planning process and day-of. This can definitely be pricey, so don’t forget to set outside the money you would like to use for this ahead of time!
We hope this helps alleviate a little of the stress about those sneaky wedding day costs! We know planning and paying for a wedding is lot- so we want to help any way we can!
