If there’s one thing we love about wedding days, it’s seeing the bride in her dress! Knowing that each dress is hand selected uniquely by each bride is so special, so giving the dress its own moment on the wedding day is necessary! However, we do like to suggest to our brides to make sure you’re selecting a dress that fits the “vibe” of your wedding- is it boho, or modern? Is it in a rustic barn or uptown in the city? All of these things can help narrow down your search for the perfect dress!
Let’s talk about the bohemian chic design concept! With big statement florals, lots of pops of color, and beautiful beaded dresses, we love this design! Boho wedding dresses usually have lots of intricate beaded or lace detail on them in some kind of pattern! The design usually includes some kind of dried florals to add into the statement pieces, and lots of different colors! These venues could be barns, beach properties, outdoor spaces, etc! There’s lots of different avenues you could take with the bohemian style!

A modern wedding dress looks really sleek! Maybe the neckline is asymmetrical, or is a high neck. There’s not much lace or jewels or frills on a modern dress! It’s very sleek and elegant- looking with lots of clean lines. This type of dress would pair well in an art gallery setting, a museum, or something like that! And the design would be more neutral colors, lots of white and blacks with maybe some unique florals.

Let’s talk about the timeless formal bride. These dresses aren’t trendy- they are beautiful statement pieces that never go out of style! They are usually more form fitting, and just like the modern bride, have clean lines and no extra frills on them. This design leans more into the classiness of white roses with bigger floral arrangements and maybe a more opulent venue like a country club.

Moving on to the romantic estate vibe! These dresses have a long train, and can have jewels, lace, flowers, anything you can think of that looks pretty and romantic! The venues for this vibe can be any kind of estate, whether it’s in Italy or right here in North Carolina. They usually include some form of string lights and a cozy but romantic feel to the reception.

Next let’s talk about the elegant garden design. This wedding dress is loose and airy, with maybe some lace, flowers, or tulle! Maybe even some bows! The design plays off the natural look of the venue but enhances it to get that elegance feel! This focuses on lots of white florals with pops of color like light pink and lots of greenery. This type of venue could be an estate with an outdoor option, or a venue that has a pretty garden area.

Playing off of the elegant garden design is whimsical love! This design is a little less opulent, it really embraces the natural beauty of the venue and doesn’t need to do much else to the space! This can include more pops of different colors and bigger florals. The dresses can be similar to the elegant estate garden dresses where they’re also light, airy, and flowy, with lots of lace! These venues are flower farms, large gardens, or places like this with limited to none inside space.

Last, but certainly not least, is rustic charm. These types of venues are beautiful barns! The design really captures the rustic beauty of the venue and runs with it. This could include farm tables and wooden chairs, lots of greenery, and more natural looking decor! These dresses typically have lots of lace on them, and we love it!
