We love it when our clients bring their Pinterest boards to life and have their own decor that is special to them and key to their design on their wedding day. Mint to Be Weddings offers limited complimentary decor to their clients as well, and so sometimes it can be a little overwhelming with the amount of decor we have to go through on wedding days. In this blog we’ll cover some ways to organize your decor to save your wedding planners a headache, and achieve a seamless day!

One way to pack your decor that really helps us is to put it all in clear bins. This way, we can see what is in there and be able to efficiently set it out.
It is also really helpful to put decor items that go in the same area together! For example- cocktail hour items in the same bin, ceremony items, head table/sweetheart table items, and reception items. This way we aren’t scrambling to find your guest book that might have gotten packed with your bar signage and favors.
We also really love and appreciate if the bins are labeled as well, this just helps us be able to identify items faster so we can be more efficient! Divide and conquer is the name of the game, so it is really so helpful to us if everything is organized and ready to go!

Another idea that is a major help to us on wedding days is to go ahead and prep items that are going to be used throughout the day. This can be candles unwrapped and ready to be put in vases, batteries laid out/ installed in anything that might need them, or if you have any sort of exit item it can be unwrapped and ready to go.
All of these things really help your wedding day go as seamlessly as possible, and help us be able to have more time to pay attention to things that might come up during the day. We love seeing our clients’ visions come to life, and these simple steps can help us achieve that goal!
