At every wedding, the main statement is always the beautiful bride - all eyes are on her as she walks down the aisle in her white dress. Nothing compares to that moment that months (sometimes years) of planning has led to!
Every bride & groom deserve a wedding that truly encapsulates their unique love story in one beautiful day. We love incorporating special design elements that make a statement for our couples.
We always recommend prioritizing the ceremony design, as well as the sweetheart/head table at the reception. These are the two main areas where we'd recommend allocating most of the floral budget. After all, the day is all about you two, so it's only right to emphasize the design accordingly.

For an economical approach, we work with our couples to repurpose design/floral elements from the ceremony to the reception. Floral aisle markers can become a beautiful statement piece surrounding your sweetheart table or framing a grand staircase. A cascading arbor canopy can serve a new purpose as a beautiful runner. The list goes on and on - there are countless ways to repurpose your ceremony elements! We take care of this switch during cocktail hour, so no one even notices.
Here are some of our recommended key ingredients for the ultimate statement piece:
- flowers & greenery
- candles
- linen drapery
- your personal touch! (neon sign, unique arbor, personalized photos, etc.)
Design can often seem daunting or overwhelming, so we'd recommend starting with these basic elements. When in doubt, start with florals and candles for your base and build from there! We offer design meetings in our partial and full planning packages, which is the perfect opportunity to discuss all of the whimsical details that you want to incorporate.
Here are a few places to consider when planning your design statement pieces:
CEREMONY
Arbor Design
This is where the magic happens - the majority of your floral budget usually goes to this design. Combining floral elements with drapery, candles, or a lighting feature creates the perfect backdrop to say "I do."

Aisle Markers
There are numerous ways to frame your aisle, which create the perfect path leading up to your ceremony backdrop. You can incorporate floral or personalized elements that tie in with your wedding design, like the one below listing out the verses of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8: "love is patient, love is kind..."

RECEPTION
Sweetheart / Head Table
Whether you choose to have a sweetheart table (just you two) or a head table (you two and the bridal party), this space is all about ambience. Create a romantic dining experience by framing the space where you two will sit, so your seats stand out from the rest. Utilize elements like candlelight, textured linens or floral runners, and venue elements to personalize your design.

Statement walls are all the rage right now, known for their versatility and natural elegance. These make a great photo backdrop, but can also serve as a seating chart wall or space for guests to lounge. Personalize this feature by adding a custom name sign and florals that tie in with your bouquet design.
