Hello everyone!
Welcome to today's trends post where we're talking all about flowers! As we enter into springtime pretty soon, fresh blossoms and bright colors will make their annual reappearance. Besides smelling divine and looking beautiful, fresh flowers represent new life, which is exactly what your big day is all about!
Here's what floral revelations we're expecting to see in 2021:
1. When in doubt, go monochromatic
Do you want an elegant, bridal look, but aren't sure what color your flowers should be? Choose a monochromatic palette that reflects the tones of your main decor. We're expecting to see floral arrangements including soft shades of pink, white, and green this year. Or, if you're going for a natural or bohemian flair, opt for dried flowers! They are a unique way to incorporate natural elements into your day, without creating a color explosion.

2. Create a floral canopy
On top of bouquets and centerpieces, we're expecting to see creative, hanging floral installations. Consider hanging potted plants above your dessert table or cascading stretches of lavender over your dining guests. Much like the painted ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, a colorful canopy of flowers will catch your guests' attention AND artistic appreciation. With floral details like this, we're expecting many brides to choose simple and minimal wedding decor.

3. Tie the knot under a floral moon
Now we're sure you're no stranger to wedding arches, but this year: that trend comes with a little twist! Many brides are choosing geometric shaped arches that create the perfect ceremonial backdrop. The beauty of this trend is that you can be as creative as you want! If you consider yourself handy, recruit the help of a family member, friend or your fiancé(e) to build a one of a kind wedding arch! There's also numerous handmade & custom options on Etsy that are sure to inspire you. We've seen shapes like triangles, pentagons, circles, and hexagons so far and we can't wait to see what else brides & grooms come up with!

4. Go bold or go home
No matter what color scheme you're thinking, there are definitely flowers to match! We're excited to see bold, dramatic florals at weddings this year! Imagine bright hues of pink, purple, and yellow, to name a few. Many florists are getting creative with their arrangements and creating a natural, garden look that's imperfectly perfect! Instead of neatly arranged flowers, this year will be full of floral decor that runs wild.
