Times Our Emergency Kit Has Come in Handy

April 02, 2024 in Top Tips

If you didn’t know- most wedding planners, including us, keep an emergency kit with them on wedding days stocked full with quite literally anything you could need in a pinch! Trust us, we’ve seen it all and we are prepared for it all!

Let’s go over the most basic things we keep on hand for the most common situations that might come up on a wedding day!

  1. Extra pins for boutonnières or floral tape to create a boutonnière.

  2. Crochet hook for a wedding dress! Sometimes getting in and out or bustling is harder than you think!

  3. Safety pins for a broken bustle! Don’t want anything bringing you down on the dance floor!

  4. Sewing kit for popped suit buttons or anything like that.

  5. Bandaids for new shoes!

  6. Lash glue so no lashes blow away (or for keep necklaces in place!)

  7. Ribbons and ring boxes in all sorts of colors for detail shots.

  8. Pens for guestbooks

  9. Extra polaroid cameras and film.

  10. Extra place cards for last minute changes

  11. Hot glue guns, lighters, scissors, pliers, screwdriver! Never know when these are needed.

  12. Batteries!

  13. Bendadryl/ cortisone cream (we had a bridesmaid get bit by ants while taking pictures so now we keep these on hand!) Along with Tylenol!
