Our clients usually come to us with a set vision when it comes to their wedding day and its design, and we just help them bring it to life! Obviously, we love doing this or else we wouldn’t be wedding planners (duh!) But, every once in a while we come across a client who lets us use our creative thinking and gives us free rein over their whole design. Risky, I know! But, not to toot our own horn or anything but we’re good at what we do because we know what we’re doing and we have teams of amazing vendors who help us along the the way! We love when we have a bride who trusts us enough to create and deliver one of the biggest days of her life- her wedding.
One of our most recent brides who let us do this was Carlisa! At our first meeting with her, she showed us a photo of her AMAZING dress. And boom! The inspiration behind the whole design of her wedding! (I mean how could it not be? It’s an incredibly beautiful dress).

Carlisa actually wanted to be surprised for most of the details of her wedding! Caroline Zaney, one of our lead planners and owner of Mint to Be, created an initial design board, and Carlisa loved it! She then came to the showroom to see the linens and glassware that Caroline picked out, and loved that too! Everything else was up to the team of vendors’ creativity and expertise, and boy did they all nail it!

Sam, the groom, had mentioned to Caroline that he wanted lanterns in some form to be included in their wedding day. Caroline said she had an idea, and they told her to go for it! We added floating lanterns with ribbons matching the colors in the florals and glassware to the ceiling of their tent, and they looked beautiful during the ceremony and the reception!

Despite all the rain, Carlisa & Sam’s wedding was full of sunshine from their love and laughter that filled the entire day. It was one of those weddings that we were really proud to be a part of, and we are so happy they loved it! It was so much fun to come up with this design for them, and was truly one to remember!
