We love a beautiful statement ceremony aisle and arbor moment! This is where you’re tying the knot, why not make it memorable?!

Whether you have a big wooden arbor behind you, drapery, florals, or all of the above, your ceremony is going to be beautiful no matter what. We just wanted to give some suggestions and ideas of statement arbors that our clients have done and we have loved!

The nice thing about having statement floral pieces on your arbor is that most pieces can be moved and flipped into your reception space so that they can serve a purpose for your reception as well! This is a super cost effective way to have a wow factor at both your ceremony and your reception.

Another cool way to add a statement to your ceremony is the use of rugs! We’ve seen rugs be used all the way down the aisle, or like how this one was placed right at the arbor for the bride and groom to say “I Do” on! This is such a pretty look!

Another way to make a statement is using drapery! In the picture above, which is from our summer styled shoot in 2022, we chose to use colored drapery that matched the color scheme of our shoot! We also chose to add 3 layers of it to add dimension and depth so that it would really stand out.
In the picture below, from Mint To Be’s owner, Caroline Zaney’s wedding, the white drapery added the perfect amount of contrast from the natural trees so that Caroline and her husband Robbie could stand out while tying the knot!

Last, but certainly not least, we wanted to add in an aisle that is lined with flowers/ flower petals. This is such an elegant, romantic, and timeless addition to your ceremony site, and we predict that it will always be in style!
We hope this blog helped give some ideas and inspiration for a statement aisle arbor that you’ll want to use for your wedding!
