Finding The Perfect Veil

Once you find the perfect dress, the hard part is officially over! Finding the perfect veil to complement your gown is usually very simple. Most bridal boutiques offer dresses and veils, so you can easily try them both on at the same time to see how they go together.

The first step is to choose the right length for you - the chart below shows each length for your reference. If your dress has a long train, you may choose to envelope it with a lacy cathedral veil that makes a statement. If your gown has a shorter train, you may choose a waltz veil for varied dimension. The choice is up to you!

The second step to finding the perfect veil is to consider tying in a touch of glamour. Veils vary in their design and detail, which could include lace embroidery, beaded sparkle, or even 3D elements like pearls, butterflies, or other designs. Some veils only feature detail around the edge of the veil, while others offer an abstract canvas of delicately placed elements. Before you go veil shopping, it's helpful to know what options are out there for you. Walking into a bridal boutique can seem overwhelming at first, since there are SO many veils to choose from. If you already know what length and style you're looking for, this can help narrow down your choices making for an easier decision.
