Looking for some inspo for your 2022 wedding? Look no further, we’ve got all you need to know right here!
One word; Bridgerton. If you’ve seen the show Bridgerton on Netflix, you know what the hype is about! Luxurious parties, beautiful ball gowns, and delicious food is just the beginning for the show. The wedding industry is seeing lots of weddings take on this Regency era style, complete with puffed sleeves, bows, and antique but delicate jewelry.
Another trend that we will be seeing a lot of in the future is brides ditching the traditional white gowns and creating a statement by wearing tinted or even black dresses. Some brides are also ditching the dress idea altogether and switching them for a cute pantsuit, even if it’s just easier to dance the night away in during the reception.

COVID-19 really did a number on the wedding industry, and we are still seeing some repercussions of this. One of these repercussions being a mass influx of weddings. With a mixture of weddings being postponed until 2022 and couples waiting through Covid to get married now because of the more relaxed mandates, the industry is seeing a lot of weekends booked further in advance, which means we will see a rise in weekday weddings.
Now for the best part… color palettes!
With Sherwin Williams naming Evergreen Fog as their 2022 color of the year, I predict we will be seeing lots more of this color in weddings. It has an earthy tone to it, and can also be paired well with a blush pink to brighten it up a bit, or a steel gray or dark blue to keep with the earthy tones.

If you’re looking for a more boho style wedding, terracotta and rust is your go to! These two colors are beautiful together and create such a unique and hip color palette. Terracotta and rust paired with greenery, pompous grass, or a rustic barn (or all of the above!) is so stunning.

Dark color palettes are 100% in this year as well, especially if your wedding falls during the winter! The dark colors create such a moody but chic vibe for your wedding and can create a beautiful atmosphere, especially if your ceremony or reception is located downtown.

Completely opposite from the dark and moody color palettes that are currently trending, bright color palettes are also in and are such a beautiful addition to a wedding! Adding a bold splash of color in your wedding is so fun, whether it’s in the smaller details or included in florals or linens.

Moving on from color palettes, a trend that we’re obsessed with is live paintings. These paintings are so timeless and sentimental, and they add such a unique element than what pictures and videos can offer. These are the perfect pieces to hang in your house to look at and remember what a special day it was!

Lastly, we will be seeing a lot of organic-style florals. Hanging florals and vines from the ceiling is such a stunning addition, and this trend is definitely going to continue throughout 2022!
