Our Favorite Late Night Snacks for Dance Floor Fuel

After dinner and toasts, your guests hit the dance floor ready for a fun-filled night with lively music, irresistible laughter, and good friends. Dancing the night away will probably leave your guests a little tired, so we LOVE when couples decide to surprise their guests with a late night snack! Here are our favorite snack ideas to energize your guests and keep the party going.

1. S'mores by the Fire

Include your guests in the dessert experience with s'mores! No matter how many guests you have, making s'mores around the fire creates a cozy and intimate atmosphere. If your venue comes with a fireplace, that's a plus, but you can still build a tabletop fire with simple camping fuel jars like this one.

2. Hot Cocoa Bar

Perfect for the colder months, a hot chocolate bar is a great way to top off the evening. Include bowls of marshmallows, peppermints, and even Hershey kisses or chocolate chips for guests to customize their cozy drinks.

3. Donuts on the Dance Floor

Surprise your guests with delicious donuts for a late night pick me up! At this wedding above, we went around passing them out, so guests could enjoy a sweet treat without leaving the dance floor. Have your wedding planner pass out your treats or ask your DJ to announce the surprise so no one misses out :)

4. Milk & Cookies

The ultimate late night snack - Santa Claus approved. Serve this delicious snack in pretty glasses with a cookie on top for a fancy twist on the homemade classic.

5. An Ice Cream Cart Full of Flavor

Morning Glory Farms, Golden Cow Creamery

Invite your guests to choose a flavor by renting an adorable ice cream cart! Ice cream treats are perfect for summer nights and creating memories your guests will never forget.

6. Taco Truck

Surprise your guests with a fun taco truck! Food trucks are very popular and easy for setup, especially if your dance floor is outside under the stars. You can also create a make-your-own taco stand for guests to customize their experience.

7. Chick-fil-A Sandwiches

Unless your wedding is on a Sunday, Chick-fil-A sandwiches are the perfect late night snack! Have your planner pop these out in the middle of dancing to give your guests an extra boost.

8. Soft Pretzels

The Knot

Let your guests choose from salted, cinnamon, and cheesy pretzels for a tasty snack they can enjoy on the dance floor! We'd recommend keeping your bar or drink stand open, so they can chase the salty snack with a refreshing drink.

9. Mini Pizzas with Personality

Treat your friends and family to delicious mini pizzas, easy to hold and eat! Customize the packaging with a cute message, like this one that Chandler & Michael did: "Thanks for being a pizza our wedding day!"

10. Espresso Shots

For an energizing drink, treat your guests to espresso shots! These are great if you're having an afterparty too, but will definitely keep your dance floor full until the end of the night.
