Happy Tuesday everyone! We'd like to welcome DJ Rosice Batsuli to our blog to provide some helpful entertainment tips for 2021. Event and wedding professionals nationwide have adapted to new COVID regulations to ensure your special day is both safe and magical! Here are DJ Rosice's tips for planning your wedding entertainment:

- Consider Live Streaming Your Wedding. Can you imagine cutting your guest count from 150 to 25 people? Cutting the guest list was stressful and heartbreaking for our couples. Reduce the anxiety by having a Plan B, and a great one is to livestream your wedding. Your guests will not have to miss you walking down the aisle or miss hearing you say, “I Do". Live streaming also makes the changes concerning your guest count a little easier to communicate. There are a few companies that offer this service (including us) and do a great job. Using a professional will ensure that your guests have a quality experience and will eliminate the overwhelming techy things behind live streaming.

- Do not Procrastinate on Booking the Vendors You Want. Due to the number of postponements mixed with new couples looking to book, weekend dates have become scarce. Some vendors can have a date open in the morning, and later that day, put the same date on hold because another couple is looking to postpone to that particular date. If you know the vendor you want to work with, book them as soon as you can.

- Choose the Right DJ. We know a lot more about COVID now than we did in 2020, but one thing is for certain: everyone’s comfort level with being around people to wearing masks is different. From a music perspective, this may affect how people dance and how long they stay. It’s no longer just about rocking the party. It is about creating an experience from start to finish. It’s important that your DJ is a master at reading the crowd, and knows how to provide a great time for your guests regardless of the size.

Hey! I’m Rosice and I am the owner of Cease Fire Productions LLC located in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are a DJ entertainment company that believes in creating an event experience that you and your guests will remember for a lifetime. Our clients say that we bring the party...I agree!

I have personally been a DJ for 20 years and have a past of DJing clubs and concerts. I started as a college DJ at Winston Salem State University and then became a Radio/Mixshow DJ for 102 Jamz in Greensboro, North Carolina for 5 years. I moved back to Charlotte and transitioned to weddings in 2012, and immediately got addicted. It was a great opportunity as a DJ to not only be part of the most important day of a person’s life but become part of their family for a day.

In 2014, I launched Cease Fire Productions and never turned back. After losing a baby due to an early delivery in October 2016, I left my full-time job at the YMCA of Greater Charlotte to pursue Cease Fire Productions. I have a beautiful wife name Kisha, and a son named Marquise. When I am not rocking events, I enjoy reading books on business and watching movies (I am a huge Rocky fan).
